7.  Lift the shroud up, tip the top of the shroud 
toward the compressor, and pull the shroud 
out of the machine compartment.

9.  Remove two 1/4 in. hex head screws to 
remove the fan motor from the fan bracket 
and shroud.
Condenser
The condenser is a steel coil which the 
refrigerator uses to exchange heat from inside 
the cabinet to outside the cabinet. 
Condenser Removal
1.  Follow Condenser Fan Removal, steps 
1 through 7 (see Condenser Fan in this 
section).
2.  Follow recover procedure (see Evacuation 
and Charging Procedure under the 
Replacing Sealed System Components 
section of this service guide), and disconnect 
the inlet and outlet lines of the condenser.
3.  Remove two 1/4 in. hex head screws.
NOTE: The condenser fan mounting bracket 
connected to the bottom left of the condenser 
coil will need to be reused when replacing the 
condenser coil.
Compressor Electricals (TSD)
Compressor electricals (shown as TSD in the 
schematic in this service guide) are made up of 
an overload and relay combo and capacitor.  
Compressor Electricals Removal
1.  Remove the machine compartment cover.
2.  Remove the retainer clip securing the combo 
and capacitor to the compressor.
3.  Pull the overload and relay combo and

4.  Pull the capacitor and combo apart.
