  Several factors can cause poor cooling. Ensure the air filter is clean; it should be cleaned every 15 days. Check for obstructions blocking the air inlet and outlet. Verify that the temperature is set correctly, and that all doors and windows are closed. Also, direct sunlight through windows, excessive heat sources, or too many people in the room can affect cooling performance. Consider using curtains to block sunlight.

  When your Haier Air Conditioner is stopped, it has a built-in delay of 3 minutes before it can restart. This protects the system. Similarly, if the electric plug is pulled out and reinserted, the protection circuit will also enforce a 3-minute delay.

  Your Haier Air Conditioner may produce various noises during operation. A swishing or gurgling sound is normal, caused by refrigerant flowing through the system and is more noticeable in the first few minutes after starting. A cracking noise can occur due to the casing expanding or shrinking with temperature changes. However, a big noise from airflow could indicate a dirty air filter.
