    • T
      Tommy FreemanAug 21, 2025
To address a wobble in your HAMPTON BAY fan: * Ensure all blade and blade arm screws are secure. * Check that blade levels are equal by measuring the distance from a point on the center of each blade to the ceiling; deviations should be within 1/8 inch. * Run the fan for ten minutes. * If the fan continues to wobble contact Customer Service to get a balancing kit at no charge.

Why is my HAMPTON BAY 69156 so noisy?
    • P
      Peter RamirezAug 30, 2025
There are several reasons why your HAMPTON BAY fan might be making noise: * Ensure all motor housing screws are snug. * Make sure the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. * Confirm the wire nut connections aren't rattling against each other or the inside of the switch housing. * Allow a 24-hour 'breaking in' period, as most noises disappear during this time. * If using a light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware and the light bulbs themselves are tight. * The canopy should be a short distance from the ceiling, not touching it. * Verify your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box.
