Ensure the batteries are fully charged by placing them in direct sunlight for 12 hours before use. Cloudy weather can reduce charging efficiency and shorten operating hours. Finally, ensure the batteries are correctly seated between the metal clips in the battery compartment, as they may have become dislodged during shipping.
