      Cheryl SampsonJul 29, 2025

Why is my HAMPTON BAY ALICANTE so noisy?
    • B
      Brady MontgomeryAug 8, 2025
To resolve a noisy Hampton Bay Fan, ensure that all motor housing screws are snug. Also, check that the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. Make sure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing. Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period, as most noises disappear during this time. If you're using a light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware and the light bulbs are tight. Confirm the canopy has a small gap from the ceiling and your outlet box is secure, with rubber isolator pads between the mounting plate and outlet box.

What to do if HAMPTON BAY ALICANTE Fan wobbles?
    • B
      Brett GlennAug 18, 2025
To stop a Hampton Bay Fan from wobbling, first check that all blade and blade arm screws are secure. Unequal blade levels often cause wobble. Measure from a point on the ceiling to the tip of each blade, ensuring any deviation is within 1/8 inch. If the fan continues to wobble after running for ten minutes, contact Customer Service for a balancing kit.
