MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE BATTERY
WARNING:Do not burn batteries – risk of explosion.
1. Loosen the 6 screws holding the back cover.
2. Separate the front and back covers so the battery is visible.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Unscrew the positive and negative wires from the battery.
5. Connect the red positive wire to the battery’s positive terminal and the black negative wire to
the battery’s negative terminal.
6. Place the new battery in the battery compartment.
7. Replace the back cover and tighten the screws.
8. Spent batteries must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
