Connection
1. The charger’s power cord is plugged in, but no battery is connected:
The backlight ashes green, 0.0 V is shown, and the battery clip
symbol goes on.
2. The battery is connected, but the charger’s power cord is not plugged
in: The display is blank.
3. The charger’s power cord is plugged in and a battery is connected:
The backlight ashes green and the battery voltage is shown. After 5
seconds the backlight goes red and the charging starts.
4. Disconnection of clips during the charging or after completion of the
charging: The backlight ashes, 0.0 V is shown, and the battery clip
symbol goes on.
5. The charger’s power cord is plugged in and the battery is connected
with incorrect polarity: The backlight ashes and the polarity fault
symbol goes on.
6. The charger’s power cord is plugged in, the battery is connected and there
is voltage between the clips, but very little or no charging current. The clips
are not connected properly to the battery, for example as a result of oxide
on the battery terminals. The display ashes, the battery clip symbol is on,
and there is voltage between the clips.
