Usage Features

  • Program Selection: The dishwasher offers various programs, including:
    • Hygiene: For high-temperature sanitization (70°C).
    • 1 hour (60°C): For normally soiled loads that need quick washing.
    • ECO (ECO): Standard program for normally soiled loads, suitable for pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans.
    • Self Cleaning: A program for cleaning the dishwasher itself.
    • Rapid: A shorter wash for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying.
    • Soak: To rinse dishes that you plan to wash later that day.
    • Nightwash: Lower noise and normally energy consumption, used for washing in the evening.
    • Extra Drying: For better drying results.
    • Energy Save: When you have less plates to wash.
    • Express: Reduce the program time.
  • Display and Control Panel: The appliance features a control panel with buttons for Power, Program, Function, Delay, Half load, and Warning indicator. The screen displays remaining time, delay time, error codes, water consumption, and energy consumption.
  • Salt Container: The dishwasher includes a salt container for water softener. Users are instructed to add special salt to prevent limescale build-up. The salt indicator on the control panel lights up when a refill is needed.
  • Detergent Dispenser: The detergent dispenser is designed to hold both pre-wash and main wash detergent. It can accommodate a maximum of 30g of detergent.
  • Rinse Aid Dispenser: A rinse aid dispenser is included to improve drying and prevent water spots. The rinse aid indicator lights up when a refill is needed.
  • Multi-component (multitab) Detergents: The dishwasher supports 2-in-1, 3-in-1, etc., detergents. However, it is recommended to use special salt and rinse aid even with these detergents for optimal results, especially in areas with hard water.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning External Surfaces: External surfaces should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and non-abrasive detergents.
  • Cleaning Internal Surfaces: The door gasket should be cleaned regularly with a soft, moist cloth. Food residue in the dishwasher compartment and the water from the spray arms should be removed.
  • Filter System: The dishwasher has a filter system at the bottom of the compartment to prevent clogging. Regular cleaning of the filters (main filter, fine filter, coarse filter) is essential for effective washing.
  • Spray Arms: The spray arms should be cleaned regularly to prevent clogging by hard water chemicals. They can be removed for thorough cleaning.
  • Cleaning the Dishwasher:
    1. Disconnect the dishwasher from power.
    2. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose.
    3. Drain the water from the inlet hose and the water valve.
    4. Reconnect the water inlet hose to the water valve.
    5. Remove the filter and use a sponge to collect water from the bottom of the dishwasher.
    • After each wash, the water supply to the appliance should be closed, and the door left slightly ajar to prevent moisture and odors.
    • The appliance should be unplugged from the wall outlet before any cleaning and maintenance.
    • Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents.
    • To remove stains from the inside, use a cloth dampened with water and a little vinegar or cleaning detergent specifically for dishwashers.
  • Moving the Appliance: If the appliance needs to be moved, it should be kept in an upright position. If absolutely unavoidable, it can rest on the appliance on its back wall.
  • Winter Protection: In winter, the dishwasher must be protected against freezing temperatures. This involves disconnecting from power and water supply, draining water from hoses and the valve, and removing the filter to collect remaining water.
  • Recycling and Scrapping: The appliance is made of recyclable materials.
