- Half Load Function: Recommended for less than 6 place settings, reducing water and energy usage. Available with Intensive, Normal, ECO, Glass, and 90 min programs.
- Delay Start: Allows users to set a delayed start for the wash cycle (3, 6, or 9 hours).
- Loading Dishes: The dishwasher has an upper and lower basket, along with a cutlery basket and cup shelf. Long and sharp items should be placed pointing down in the cutlery basket or flat on the top basket to avoid injury. The height of the upper basket is adjustable to accommodate larger items in the lower basket.
- Detergent and Rinse Aid: Uses detergent for domestic dishwashers (powder, gel, or tablets). The detergent dispenser should not be overfilled. Rinse aid is essential for preventing white water drops, lime scale spots, and streaks, and for improving the drying process. The rinse aid dosage is adjustable.
- Water Softening System: Requires special salt to prevent limescale accumulation, especially in areas with hard water. The water hardness level can be set according to local water conditions.
- Starting a Wash Cycle: After loading dishes and adding detergent/rinse aid, plug in the appliance, ensure the water supply is open, close the door, select a program, and press Start/Pause.
- Changing/Pausing a Program: A running program can be paused by pressing Start/Pause. To change a program, the current one must be cancelled (usually by holding Start/Pause for 3 seconds), and a new program selected.
- End of Program: The dishwasher beeps for 8 seconds. Users should turn off the appliance, close the water supply, and open the door to allow dishes to cool before unloading to prevent breakage.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Cleaning: Regular cleaning extends the appliance's lifespan.
- Door Seal Cleaning: Wipe door seals regularly with a damp cloth to remove residue.
- Spray Arm Cleaning: Check and clean jet nozzles on the upper and lower spray arms weekly to prevent clogging. Remove spray arms by pulling upwards (lower arm) or turning the nut counter-clockwise (upper arm).
- Filter Cleaning: Check for food residue on the strainer and fine filter. Remove and thoroughly clean filters under running water using a brush if necessary. Ensure filters are correctly installed after cleaning. Never operate the dishwasher without the filter assembly.
- Water Supply Hose Filter: Periodically inspect and clean the filter in the water supply line to prevent damage from impurities like sand, clay, or rust. Close the water supply valve before removing and cleaning the filter.
- Limescale and Grease Removal: If limescale or grease accumulates, run a high-temperature washing program without dishes and with detergent. For stubborn buildup, use a special dishwasher cleaner.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive list of error codes and troubleshooting steps for common issues such as water inlet problems, overflow, heating element malfunctions, program not starting, clinking noises, food residue, and white spots/streaks on dishes.
- Professional Service: For complex problems or repairs not described in the manual, contact a qualified technician. Always unplug the appliance and close the water supply before any intervention.
