Tip:
To get the whole combination fridge-freezer
running quickly after any care and mainte-
nance, use the ’quick freezing’ and ’quick re-
frigeration’ temperature settings at the same
time.
Checking and cleaning door
seals
Check the door seals regularly to ensure that no
warm air gets into the combination fridge-freez-
er.
1. To test, clamp a thin piece of paper in vari-
ous places. The paper should be difficult to
pull through at all points.
2. If the seal is not uniform everywhere: Care-
fully warm the seal at the appropriate places
with a hair dryer and pull out a little with
your fingers.
3. Clean dirty seals with clean water only.
Defrosting
Freezer
The freezer remains ice-free thanks to the No-
Frost technology. Defrosting is not necessary.
Fridge
The fridge is defrosted automatically. Conden-
sation runs through an opening in the back wall
of the appliance into a condensation bowl where
it is evaporated by waste heat from the motor.
