Set up and connection
Carrying out a test run
Before getting started
• Read the “Safety” chapter from
page EN-4, in particular the safety notic-
es.
• Remove the transport safety devices
and prepare the appliance as described
in chapter “Set up and connection” on
page EN-27.
• Properly attach the water inlet hose (25)
and the water outlet hose (13).
Possible residual water or drops in the
appliance are merely a sign that it was
tested for functionality during production.
The appliance requires an initial wash cycle
without laundry, but with detergent. The aim
of this is to rinse out possible residues from
production.
1. Check whether the water inlet hose (25)
and water outlet hose (13) are securely
connected.
2. Open the valve completely.
3. Make sure that the drum is empty.
4. Push the loading door tightly closed.

5. If the partition (15) is located in the left
chamber II of the dispensing drawer (1),
take it out. Keep it safe as it is needed
when liquid detergent is used.
6. Dispense a maximum of 25 ml of compact
detergent into left chamber II.

7. Set the cycle selector (2) to the “Cotton”
cycle.
The cycle time is shown in the display (3).
The cycle LED (8) flashes.
8. Press the “Start/Pause” button (7) .
The cycle starts; the cycle LED (8) stays
on. The remaining cycle time is shown in
the display (3).
After the cycle is done, “End” is shown in
the display (3).
9. Turn the cycle selector (2) to “Off”. Take
the mains plug out of the socket and turn
off the tap.
Start-up is now finished.
