Creating a water drain
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
The suds can become very hot and may
cause burns upon contact.
Securely attach the water drain hose
to a drain or bath to prevent it from
slipping due to the recoil caused by
pumping.
For drains, make sure that the cross
section of the discharge pipe is great
enough that the drain cannot over-
ow.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to water damage.
Do not extend the water drain hose
or replace it with another hose.
Make sure that the water drain hose
is not kinked or twisted.
Make sure that the curvature of the
water drain hose is at least 60 cm
(max. 100 cm) above the ground to
ensure the water drainage functions
perfectly.
Ensure that the water drain hose is
in the retaining clips on the back of
the appliance so that the curvature
always remains above the waterline.
Make sure that the end of the hose is
not submerged in the pumped water.
The water drain hose (14) can be secured in
two ways:
Fixing with a hose holder for self-installa-
tion.
Fixing to an appliance connection nozzle
directly on the siphon by a specialist.
Fixing with a hose holder
Put the end of the water drain hose (14)
