REMOVAL
Block vehicle under frame such that vehicle will not fall
when jiffy stand is removed. Failure to properly block
vehicle could result in death or serious injury. (00462b)
1. Block motorcycle underneath frame so both wheels are
raised off the ground.
2. See Figure 2-114. Remove cotter pin and washer (10)
from pin (2). Discard cotter pin.
3. Detach spring (8) from jiffy stand and anchor plate (9).
4. Pull pin (2) from between frame tubes. Jiffy stand and pivot
block components will drop as an assembly.

INSTALLATION
If leg stop is incorrectly installed, excessive wear can allow
vehicle to fall when rested on jiffy stand, which could result
