5, CONNECTING THE DAL 150 TO YOUR AUDIO SYSYEM
Connecting the DAL 150 to your audio system is simple, following these steps.
1, Connect the DAL 150 to your computer using the supplied USB cable and
follow the installation instructions above for the operating system used by your
computer.
2, Connect one end of the coaxial digital audio cable supplied with the DAL 150
to the RCA jack on the unit labeled “S/PDIF OUT”. If the supplied cable is not
long enough to reach your audio system, you may use any coaxial style
interconnect cable designed for video or digital audio use. We do not recommend
the use of traditional audio interconnect cables, as the twisted pair construction
they typically employ is not well suited to digital audio applications.
NOTE: If the distance between your computer and audio system are too
great to use the cables shipped with the DAL 150, we recommend that a short
