Turn off the amplifier when connecting speakers to prevent short circuits and system damage. Never change connections with the system powered on.
Select quality speaker wire, especially for long distances, using appropriate gauge for optimal performance and sound reproduction.
Connect red speaker terminals to positive (+ve) amplifier terminals and black to negative (-ve) for proper bass output and phase.
Position speakers 6-12 feet apart, facing the long room end, at the same height, angled towards the listening area.
