F. Before Your First Fire
1. First, make sure your appliance has been properly
installedandthatallsafetyrequirementshavebeenmet.
Payparticularattentiontothereprotectionandventing
instructions.
2. Doublecheckthattheashpanandreboxareempty!

E. General Operating Information
1. Room Sensor Calls For Heat
Theapplianceislikemostmodernfurnaces;whentheroom
sensorcallsforheat,yourappliancewill automaticallylight
anddeliverheat.
Whentheroomisuptotemperatureandtheroomsensoris
satised,theappliancewillshutdown.
2. Heat Output Controls
The appliance will turn on and off as the room sensor
demands.Whentheroomsensorcallsforheat,theappliance
willalwaysstartuponHigh.Afterburningapproximately7-10
minutes,theappliancewillthenburnattherateatwhichit
wasoriginallyset.Iftheapplianceissetatoneofthelower
settings,itwillrunquieterbuttakelongertoheatupanarea
thanifitweresetatahigherburnrate.
Regardlessoftheburnrate,whentheareaiswarmenough
tosatisfytheroomsensor,theappliancewillshutoff.

Keepcombustiblematerials,gasoline
andotherammablevaporsandliquids
clearofappliance.
