CE-IRS4
The CE-IRS4 has 4 individually configurable outputs.
First, select the output you want to configure. The labels IR/S-1, IR/S-2, IR/S-3, and IR/S-4 act as radio buttons allowing
you to select one particular IR/Serial port to configure. In the above example, IR/S-1 is selected.
Next select the desired mode using the pulldown labelled IR/Serial-n Mode The modes are: IR, Serial, and Data
• The IR mode expects to drive an IR emitter (CC-NIRC). This emitter should be placed on the IR receptive area of
the controlled device.
• The Serial mode expect to be wired directly to a controlled device, but still uses the IR waveform as control
• The Data mode works as a 1-way RS-232 port. The effective distance and available baud rates are reduced from
a dedicated RS-232 port.
