SETTING THE CONTROL
TYPE
For accessories with two thermocouples, the temperature
controller can be set up for cascade or double loop
temperature control. This allows both the sample
temperature and the heating block temperature to be
regulated.
• Simultaneously press both the Up-arrow S and
the Down-arrow T keys for approximately 3
seconds until the Input Menu prompt InPt appears
in the upper display and the Setup Menu prompt
SEt appears in the lower display:
InPt / SEt
• Press the Up-arrow S key twice. 9LbL appears
in the upper display:
9LbL/ SEt
• Press the MODE key four times. Cntl will appear
in the lower display.
• Press the Up-arrow S key until CSCd appears in
the upper display.
• Press the MODE key once more. CSAC will
appear in the lower display.
• Press the Up-arrow S key until dir appears in the
upper display.
• Press the DSPY key to return to the main display
format.
SETTING THE UNITS
Make sure that this step is performed prior to setting the
low or high temperature limits.
• Simultaneously press both the Up-arrow S and
the Down-arrow T keys for approximately 3
seconds until the Input Menu prompt InPt appears
in the upper display and the Setup Menu prompt
SEt appears in the lower display:
InPt / SEt
• Press the Up-arrow S key twice. 9LbL appears
in the upper display:
9LbL/ SEt
• Press the MODE key once. C_F will appear in the
lower display.
• Either F for Fahrenheit units or C for Centigrade
units appears in the upper display.
• If the incorrect units are shown, press the Up-
arrow S once to change to the temperature units.
• Press the DSPY key to return to the main display
format.
