SETTING THE LOW
TEMPERATURE LIMIT
For routine operation, the low temperature limit for
thermocouple 1 (TC1) and thermocouple 2 (TC2) should
be set to -200ºC, as follows:
• Make sure that the units have been set to
Centigrade, as described above.
• Simultaneously press both the Up-arrow S and
the Down-arrow T keys for approximately 3
seconds until the Input Menu prompt InPt appears
in the upper display and the Setup Menu prompt
SEt appears in the lower display:
InPt / SEt
• Press the MODE key twice. rL1 will appear in the
lower display.
• Use the Down-arrow T key to set the upper
display to -200.
• Press the MODE key five more times. rL2 will
appear in the lower display.
• Use the Down-arrow T key to set the upper
display to -200.
• Press the DSPY key to return to the main display
format.

in the lower display.
• Use the Up-arrow S and/or Down-arrow T keys
to set the upper display to 750.
• Press the MODE key five more times. rH2 will
appear in the lower display.
• Use the Up-arrow S and/or Down-arrow T keys
to set the upper display to 750.
• Press the DSPY key to return to the main display
format.
