•Press 7/OPT button and select SINCGARS OPTIONS. There are three options:
SINCGARS GTOD, RETRANSMIT ROLE, and SQUELCH. SINCGARS GTOD is
available when OP MODE is set to Frequency Hopping. SQUELCH is available
in Single Channel OP MODE. RETRANSMIT ROLE is available in both.
• To set the time select SINCGARS GTOD. There are two choices: USER
ENTRY and GPS SYNCHRONIZATION.
• If USER ENTRY is selected, press ENT again to modify the GTOD. Type
in the Julian Day, arrow over and type in the hours, minutes, and seconds
from an accurate time source. The next time ENT is pressed the GTOD
clock will start.
• If GPS SYNCHRONIZATION was selected there are two possible
screens: SUCCESSFUL or GPS SIGNAL MISSING. The GPS is
defaulted to sleep after 15 minutes of use and needs to be woken for GPS
SYNCHRONIZATION to be successful.
