When an ANW2 network is programmed in the CPA, each radio is assigned a
Red (PT) IP and a Black (CT) IP. The Black IPs are all in the same subnet. For
example: 172.16.0.1, 172.16.0.2, 172.16.0.3, etc. 172,16.0 is the subnet. The
Black IPs are on the Cipher Text side of the radio or the RF side. The Red IPs
are all on different subnets. For example: 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.2.1,
etc. The Red IPs are on the Plain Text side of the radio or the data side. This is
the side that computer is connected to or the radio is connected to the Local Area
Network (LAN).
Any computer connected to the Red data port of the computer must be in the
same subnet as the radio. The radio connected to the LAN must also be in the
same subnet.
