System Setup
• Place the battery in a battery box with its connector aligned with the radio
power connector (normally to the right).
• Place the radio onto the battery box and latch the side clamps.
• Attach an H-250 handset to the J1 Audio connector.
• Depending on the mission, attach the required antenna to the appropriate
connector. J5 LB antenna, J7 SATCOM antenna, or J8 HB antenna.
• If used, attach the GPS antenna to the J2 GPS connector and the Remote
KDU to the J4 USB/KDU connector.
• Place rubber boots over any unused connectors.
