Fill Devices and the AN/PRC-117G
• Do not connect ANY Fill Device to the J1 AUDIO/FILL
connector until the cipher switch is placed to the LD
position.
• Upon finishing procedures in LD, disconnect the Fill
Device before returning to PT or CT.
•
Failure to do so may cause the radio to key and
transmit.
