117G frequency band coverage does not constitute authorization for
indiscriminate use of any frequency.
• The AN/PRC-117G radio is a Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI). Use
appropriate security measures to protect it as dictated by your security manager
or service regulations.
– Double barrier locked storage devices for un-keyed storage
– Store radio with function switch set to OFF
– Filled radio takes on same classification as loaded keys
