• Check that DC input voltage is
within specification. Perform
check under both a loaded and
unloaded condition.
• Replace RF-5832H-PA.
PA OVERCURRENT displayed on RF-5800H-MP KDU. Perform the following:
• Replace RF-5832H-PA.
PA OVERTEMP displayed on RF-5800H-MP KDU. Perform the following:
• Unkey RF-5800H-MP and allow
RF-5832H-PA to cool. Confirm
RF-5832H-PA is well ventilated
and not in direct sunlight. If
problem persists, remove and
replace RF-5832H-PA.
PA WARNING displayed on RF-5800H-MP KDU. Perform the following:
• Retune RF-5800H-MP and rekey.
If fault clears, continue operating.
• Replace RF-5832H-PA.
THERMAL WARNING displayed on RF-5800H-MP KDU. Perform the following:
• Unkey RF-5800H-MP and allow
RF-5832H-PA to cool. Confirm
RF-5832H-PA is well ventilated
and not in direct sunlight. If
problem persists, remove and
replace RF-5832H-PA.
Low or no transmit power on some (but not all) HF or VHF
frequencies.
Perform the following:
• Replace RF-5832H-PA.
Low or no transmit power on all HF or all VHF frequencies. Perform the following:
• Check RF cables and antenna,
replace as necessary.
