mediately.
Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do not
use a battery pack or charger that has been dropped or
receivedasharpblow.Adamagedbatteryissubjectto
explosion.Properlydisposeofadroppedordamaged
batteryimmediately.
Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the
battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets,
andkeys.Thebatteryorconductor mayoverheatand
causeburns.
For best results, your battery tool should be charged in
a location where the temperature is more than 50°F but
lessthan100°F.Toreducetheriskofseriouspersonal
injury,donotstoreoutsideorinvehicles.
Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery
leakagemayoccur.Ifliquidcomesincontactwithyour
skin, wash immediately with soap and water, then neu-
tralizewithlemonjuiceorvinegar.Ifliquidgetsintoyour
eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes,
thenseekimmediatemedicalattention.Followingthisrule
willreducetheriskofseriouspersonalinjury.
Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or
excessivetemperature.Exposuretofireortemperature
above265°Fmaycauseexplosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature
rangespecifiedintheinstructions.Chargingimproperly
or at temperatures outside of the specified range may
damagethebatteryandincreasetheriskoffire.
Have servicing performed by a qualified repairperson
usingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.
This will ensure that the safety of the product is main-
tained.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the
battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the
instructionsforuseandcare.
Store idle appliances indoors – When not in use, edger
should be stored indoors in a dry, locked place out of the
reachofchildren.
