If your Hayward Heat Pump isn't working, first ensure the power is on. Check the breaker and reset it if tripped. Make sure the thermostat is set high enough for the unit to turn on, and that the 3-minute compressor delay timer has completed. Also, ensure there's adequate water flow by cleaning the filter, verifying the filter pump is on, and disconnecting any cleaning devices. Finally, check if the outside temperature is within the operating range; if it's too low, wait for warmer temperatures. If the fan isn't working, call for service.
