above-ground swimming pools only. A permanently installed pool is constructed on the ground such
that it cannot be readily disassembled for storage.

      If your Hayward Swimming Pool Vacuum is experiencing slow or no forward movement, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure proper water flow by cleaning the In-Line Leaf Canister, Hair and Lint Pot, and Filter System. A partial blockage of the cleaner throat could also be the culprit, so clear any obstructions. Finally, inspect the shoes and wings for wear; if worn, replace them.

      If your Hayward Swimming Pool Vacuum sticks at the ladder or wall, first, you may need to purchase an AEV096P, “In-Line” vacuum gauge from your Hayward dealer to verify performance of your system. Next, check for worn shoes and replace them if necessary. If the hose is too short, add additional hose per the installation instructions. If the cleaner is stuck on the ladder, remove the ladder or install a Hayward AEXW100 Ladder Bumper. Finally, check and clean the rear screen and ensure the cone gear rotates smoothly in both directions to resolve any steering failure.
