    • V
      vangrussellAug 15, 2025
Noisy operation in your Heat Controller Dehumidifier can stem from several sources: * If the fan is cracked, out of balance, or partially missing, replace it. * Remove any loose foreign material inside the housing. * Carefully adjust the tubing if it's hitting the frame. * Check the motor mount and tighten it if the fan blade is hitting the frame. * If there is internal compressor noise, replace the compressor. * Tighten any loose set screws. * If knocking sounds continue when running or the motor assembly is loose, replace the motor. If the motor hums or the noise appears to be internal while running, replace the motor assembly.

      Victoria WalshOct 30, 2025
Your Heat Controller Dehumidifier might not be starting due to several reasons. First, check the power supply at the outlet and correct it if there's no power. Poor plug contact at the outlet can also be a reason; ensure the plug is properly installed or replace it. If the bucket is full and the Auto Shut Off light is on, empty the bucket and replace it correctly. Also, make sure the humidity control is not at the Off position; turn it towards Max. A disconnected or loose wire could be the issue; connect the wire, referring to the wiring diagram for terminal identification, and repair or replace any loose terminals. Lastly, test the capacitor and replace it if it's not within ±10% of the manufacturer's rating or if it's shorted, open, or damaged. Remember to discharge the capacitor before ...

      sara17Nov 4, 2025
If the motor runs but the compressor doesn't on your Heat Controller Dehumidifier, there are several things to inspect. First, ensure the voltage is within the range of 103.5V and 126.5V. If it's not, call an electrician. Check the wire connections; if loose, repair or replace the terminal and if the wires are disconnected, refer to wiring diagram for identification, and replace the wires. Also, if wire connections are not according to the wiring diagram, correct the connections. Check the rotary switch for continuity, referring to the wiring diagram for terminal identification, and replace the switch if the circuit is open. The Defrost Control may have shut off the compressor due to frost build-up on the evaporator coil; allow time for defrosting. Check the capacitor and replace it if it'...
