CONTROL
OPERATION
• ON / OFF: When plugged in, the device enters standby mode (indicated by a beep). Press
the ON/OFF button to switch the device on/off.
• Fan speed: Press the appropriate button to select the desired fan speed.
• Mode: Press to select from these modes: normal wind, natural wind and circulation.
• Swing: Press the button to move the blades that point the direction of the air (indicated by
an indicator light). Pressing this button again cancels this function.
• Anion: Turns the ioniser on/off (indicated by an indicator light). Pressing this button again
cancels this function.
• Timer: 12-hour timer; 1 hour to automatic shutdown is added each time you press the button.
• Cooling / Humidification: If the appliance is properly filled with water and ice when this
button is pressed, the air temperature is reduced by approx. 3 °C. Pressing it again cancels
this function.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Insert two batteries into the remote control. Attention to correct polarization.
• The remote control button functions correspond to the functions on the fan.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
• When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity!
• Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Never throw batteries into fire or water. The batteries may explode.
• Remove the batteries from the device if they are not going to be used for a prolonged
period.
• Remove spent batteries immediately from the device.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children, do not throw the battery into fire, do not
shortcircuit or take the battery apart.
• Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!
CLEANING
CAUTION! A
Protect the product from direct contact with water, and make sure that water doesn’t
get the opportunity to get in.
Always unplug the fan before cleaning and disassembling the air filter frame.
• Disconnect the power cord. (If the frame is secured with a screw, remove the screw.) Push
the air filter frame, tip it out and remove it. Clean the air filter grill with neutral detergent,
brush and rinse with clean water. Remove the dust from the "wet filter", clean the filter and
rinse. After cleaning all parts of the filter, fit the filter back into the device.
• It is sometimes necessary to clean the water tank from organic impurities and deposits with
non-aggressive detergents.
• Clean the surface of the device with a damp cloth, sponge or brush.
• Pay particular attention to cleaning all ventilation openings.
