9.8.5 Trouble shooting

Add oil up to specified oil level.
Clean it or replace oil if the oil
iscontaminated.

Notice pressure gauge when
increasing pressure.
1) Retighten loose connections
for suction pipe.
2) Add oil into oil tank.
3) Check oil seal.
4) Do not start the pump until
no air bubble is in oil tank.
Correct hose and clean filter.
Retighten each connection.
1) Use oil with proper stickiness.
2) Start the pump until oil is at
normal temperature.
Concentric mounted gear pump.
Find out causes and correct them.
Replace
Lower oil level in oil tank.
Blocked suction pipeline or oil
ilter.

Worn bushing(3) and (4) or
broken down packing(9), (10)
or (11).
Misadjusted relief valve.
Air entering into the pump.
Twisted suction nose or caviation
incurred by oil filter blocked.
Air entering-in resulting from
loose suction connections.

Eccentrically mounted gear pump.
Air bubble in oil.
