4. Press and hold the button until the display
is activated and all symbols appear on the
display.
5. The analyzer performs a self test, and
after approximately 10 seconds the display
will show three flashing dashes and the
HemoCue symbol. This indicates that the
analyzer is ready for use.
6. If the cuvette moving arm is in the measur-
ing position, the most recent result will be
displayed.
7. To turn the analyzer off, press and hold the
button until the display reads OFF and then
goes blank. If the analyzer is operating on
battery power, but not being used, it will
automatically turn off after approximately
five minutes and if operating on AC power,
it will turn off after two hours.

5. L’analyseur effectue un autocontrôle. Au
bout de 10 secondes environ, trois tirets cli-
gnotants et le symbole HemoCue apparais-
sent à l’écran. Cela indique que l’analyseur
est prêt à l’emploi.
6. Si le bras mobile de la cuvette est en posi-
tion de mesure, le résultat le plus récent
s’affiche.
7. Pour éteindre l’analyseur, appuyer sur la
touche et maintenir la pression jusqu’à ce
que l’écran affiche OFF et s’éteigne. L’ana-
lyseur s’arrête automatiquement lorsqu’il
fonctionne sur piles et qu’il n’est pas utilisé
pendant cinq minutes. S’il fonctionne sur
alimentation en c.a., il s’éteint au bout de
deux heures.
