4.13 Tube drive
Removal and installation of the tube drive:
NOTE - Safety precautions:
Observe the safety instructions!
Check decontamination of the unit!
Removal:
1. Move the front window downward to the stop.
2. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
3. Open the hood (see section 3.3).
4. Open the control box (see section 3.4).
5. Fig. 18: Disconnect the connection line [4] of the
tube drive [1] from the terminal strip of the control
box (see Annex C) and remove the connection
line from the chamber.
6. Remove the nuts for the cable retainers [3] at the
tube drive.
7. Unscrew the left bracket [2] of the tube drive and
remove the tube drive.
8. Unwind the cables [5] from the tube drive.
