4. Replacement of defined spare parts

Replacement of the downflow filter:
NOTE - Safety precautions:
Observe the safety instructions!
Check decontamination of the unit!
1. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
2. Open the hood (see section 3.3).
3. Open the inspection chamber (see section 3.5).
4. Fig. 21: Remove the three retaining screws [3] on
the plenum frame.
5. Raise the front of the plenum frame and remove
the downflow filter [4].
6. Insert the new filter so that the side with the filter
label is visible.
7. Install the retaining screws. The filter seals must
be flush with the plenum frame [1] and the floor of
the inspection chamber [2].
8. Close the inspection chamber (see section 3.5).
9. Close the hood (see section 3.3).
NOTE - Unit commissioning:
Prior to the commissioning of the unit:
Perform test run!
Check safety devices for proper opera-
tion!
