1 - INTRODUCTION
IMPORTANT! All local regulaons, including those
that refer to naonal or European regulaons,
must be applied when installing this device.
NOTE: When installing any type of insulaon to
safeguard the heat cover, take the following
obligatory recommendaons into account:
• The insulaon must never come into contact
with the device; this would prevent the transfer
of heat and the displacement of the hot air to
the top of the hood.
• Leave a minimum distance of 7 cm between
the insulaon and the appliance.
The way the Compact SERE is installed will have
a decisive eect on safety issues and its correct
operaon.
It is important to install the replace correctly.
To ensure your Compact SERE replace and the
chimney is installed correctly, it should be installed
by a professional.
The Compact SERE provides heat by radiaon;
directly heang walls, ceilings...
and by forced air convecon, thanks to the fans
installed.
TOP GRILLE AIR FLOW
This is the STANDARD air exit. Air enters through
the lower secon, “A”, and the internal fan forces
the hot air through the top secon “B”.
AIR FLOW THROUGH THE HOOD
This opon is compable with the one menoned
above.
Brick hoods must include holes at the boom and at
the top. These gaps can be covered by ornamental
grilles to facilitate the ow of air. Cold air enters
through the lower secon, “C” and exits through
the upper secon “D” (take into account that your
Compact SERE Fireplace provides most of its heat
by convecon). If the venlaon holes in the hood
are not large enough, the device may be damaged
if it is unable to dissipate the heat.
IMPORTANT! The minimum air intake gap
recommended is 200cm² of free passage through
the grille.
The air input grilles in the hood must be located in
such a way that they cannot be blocked.
For further informaon on the correct installaon
of the device, please see the Manual for the
Professional Installer.
