Clean filters as specified in the maintenance
schedule. Ensure to replace gasket once
removed.
2. Disconnect the clutch cable (1).
6. Reinstall the filter screen with the
tapered end facing in.
3. Remove the kick starter pedal (2).
4. Remove the under cowl (3). Remove
the right crankcase cover (4).
1. Drain the engine oil throughly (page 26).
5. Remove the oil filter screen (5) and wash
it in non flammable solvent (kerosene).
9. Fill the crankcase with clean engine oil
8. Reinstall the centrifugal filter cover,
right crankcase cover and connect the
clutch cable.
7. Remove centrifugal filter cover (6) &
clean the centrifugal filter (7) with non
flammable solvent (kerosene).
