Slide the grommet (2), loosen the lock nut
(3) and turn the adjuster (4). If required
adjust the free play by turning the adjuster.
Direction A - to increase the free play
Direction B - to decrease the free play

VALVE CLEARANCE
Excessive valve clearance will cause noise,
and little or no clearance will prevent the
valve from closing and cause valve damage
and power loss. Check valve clearance at
the specified intervals (page 40).
