Battery charging
3. Always ensure the battery is fully
charged before installation.
1. If in case your motorcycle is not used for
more than a month, remove the battery,
fully charge and store in a cool and dry
place.
2. If the battery is expected to be stored for
more than two months, ensure to fully
charge the battery once in a month.
Always visit your Authorised Hero
MotoCorp workshop if you see any
symptom of battery discharge as earliest as
possible to get the battery charged. The
battery has a tendency to discharge rapidly if
optional electrical accessories are fitted on
the motorcycle.
Battery storage
Battery removal
1. Make sure the ignition switch is "OFF"
2. Remove the left side cover screw (1) and
remove the side cover (2).
5. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal lead
(4) from the battery first, then disconnect
the positive (+) terminal lead (5).
4. Remove the bolt (3) from band battery.
4. Ensure the battery leads are properly
connected to the battery terminals
during installation.
