To resolve this issue, ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected. Verify that the destination IP is correctly set using LidarUtilities or PTC commands. Also, confirm that the horizontal FOV is properly set using the same tools. Check that the sensor version firmware is correct, which can be queried via LidarUtilities or PTC commands. Ensure the lidar is emitting laser light, which can be checked with an infrared camera, sensor card, or phone camera without an infrared filter. If a connection box is in use, try replacing the Ethernet cable with a Cat 6 or higher cable. Power cycle the device to see if the problem persists.
