Step 1: Ground VLF Hipot Connect the ground stud of the VLF to station ground, concentric neutral of the cable under test, and/or low side of your test object

Step 2: Install High Voltage Output Cable Install shielded output cable, tighten ring lug until snug

Step 3: Connect To the Test Object Connect the Alligator Clip from the High Voltage Output Cable to cable or high side of device under test

Step 4: Check the VLF Measurement Source is set to VLF-34E or VLF-65E

Step 5: Test Setup Using The VLF Hipot

Control of VLF and Tan Delta via E-Link with PC

Step 6: Insert the green USB Xbee Antenna into PC

Step 7: Establish Wireless Connection Between VLF and PC via the Xbee Protocol

Step 8: Test Setup using the E-Link Software Click “Run Test”

Step 9: Input The Parameters Into E-Link
