Dual-Port Memory
– Prüfen Sie, dass der von dem CIF benutzte Speicher-
bereich im BIOS auf Shadow RAM disable einge-
stellt ist.
– Prüfen Sie, ob die Adresseinstellung der ISA- und
PC/104-Karten mit der Einstellung im CIF Device
Driver Setup übereinstimmt.
– Prüfen Sie, dass die eingestellte Größe des Dual-
Port Memory im CIF Device Driver Setup der
tatsächlichen Größe entspricht.
– Prüfen Sie, dass kein Adresskonflikt mit anderen PC-
Komponenten (z. B. SCSI-Controller) vorliegt.
– Weitere Hinweise finden Sie auf der CD in
\FAQ\DEUTSCH\ISA\ bzw. PCI.
Kabel
– Prüfen Sie, dass die Pinbelegung des verwendeten
Kabels richtig ist.
– Prüfen Sie, dass die Busterminierungswiderstände
am Anfang und am Ende der Leitung eingeschaltet
und bei allen anderen Steckern des Bussegmentes
ausgeschaltet sind.
Diagnose mit ComPro
– Prüfen Sie mit Online > Task > Status anzeigen >
CMgr Info, ob das Gerät eine Verbindung aufgebaut
hat:
1. Der Wert für App Open soll größer 0 sein.
2. Der Wert für Start Transports soll größer sein als
der Wert für Delete Transports.
– Prüfen Sie mit Online > Task > Status anzeigen >
Encap Info, ob das Gerät Telegramme sendet und
empfängt: Die Werte für Recv TxpUdp bzw. Send
Encap (+) sollen hochzählen.
Troubleshooting
Dual-Port Memory
– Check if the memory area used by the CIF is set to
Shadow RAM disable in the BIOS.
– Check if the address setting on an ISA- and PC/104
cards matchs with the setting in the CIF Device
Driver Setup.
– Check that the Dual-Port Memory size in the CIF
Device Driver Setup is the same as the real size.
– Check that there is no address conflict with another
PC component (e.g. SCSI controller).

\FAQ\ENGLISH\ISA\ or PCI.
Cable
– Check that the pin occupation of the used cable is
correct.
– Check that the bus termination resistors are switched
on at the beginning and the end of the cable and are
switched off at all other connectors in the bus seg-
ment.
Diagnostic using ComPro
– Check with online > task > status read > CMgr Info
if the device has established a connection:
1. The value for App Open has to be greater than 0.
2. The value for Start Transports has to be greater
than the value for Delete Transports.
– Check with online > task > status read > Encap
Info, if the device sends and receives telegrams: The
values for Recv TxpUdp and respectively Send
Encap (+) should count up.
