1 Introduction
Dear customer,
we desire thank you for buying our product. We recommend us to read this manual with
attention, because it will be very useful in phase of installation and use.
As customer you can make use of a series of services, such as the technical telephone
assistance on the products.
1.1 Central unit description
The PROTEC5X is a burglary central unit with microprocessor technology to use on the
whole of a burglary protection system for habitation and commercial rooms of small and middle
dimensions.
It is to be used with the perimetral protection magnetic sensors, and/or with the volumetric
detectors.
The alarm can be:sounding/luminous,with the autopowered SA310 siren for outdoor use;
sounding, with the piezoelectric SP31 siren for inside use; telephonic, with the TD96 telephone
dialer.
1.2 Operating features
! 4 protection zones: 1 delayed, 2 immediate, 1 anti-sabotage "24h".
! Singularly diabling zones.
! Exit timing adjustable from 0 up to 60 sec.
! Entrance time from 0 up to 60 sec.
! Alarm duration from 180 up to 600 sec.
! Control LED: main voltage presence, fuse, overloaded main voltage, exit timing, alarm
and zone status.
! Visualization of the zones state with system disabled.
! System enabling/disabling by electronic key.
! Connector for electronic key on frontal panel and SKI Living International Series additional
connector.
! Keys automatic codifing.
! Up to 4294967296 autoprogrammable possible codes (32bit).
! Recognition of false key.
! Up to 3 key connectors at 100mt max.
! System partialization by buttons or electronic key.
! Visualization central unit status by 2 LED on the key connector: system enabled/disabled,
opened zones, escluded zones, alarm memory.
! "ALARM MEMORY" function for visualization of the zones that caused the alarm.
! Automatic alarm cicles after 5 hours of main voltage absence.
! Protection fuse on sirens voltage output and service voltage output.
! Central unit protection by intermal tamper (can be excluded for maintenance).
! Antitearing protection tamper
! According to the 1st level of CEI79-2 standard.
