Do you have a question about the Hisense WFBL7014VS and is the answer not in the manual?
This document is a user's operation manual for a Hisense washing machine, providing comprehensive instructions for its use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The Hisense washing machine is designed for domestic use, offering various wash cycles for different fabric types and soiling levels. It features an automatic enzyme phase for stain removal and an imbalance detection and correction system to ensure stable operation during spin cycles. The machine is equipped with safety functions to detect and react to faults, ensuring reliable performance. It supports both single (cold water only) and dual (hot and cold water) water inlet connections, depending on the model. The maximum washing capacity is 7kg, making it suitable for household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, hotels, motels, bed and breakfast environments, and communal areas in blocks of flats or launderettes.
Before the first wash cycle, it is recommended to run a short wash cycle without laundry to remove any residual water from manufacturing tests. To prepare laundry, users should sort items by fabric type, care label symbol (cottons, mixed fibres, easy care/synthetics, wool, handwash items), and colour, washing new coloured articles separately. Small or delicate items, such as nylon stockings, belts, or bras, should be washed in a cloth bag or pillowcase with a zip. All pockets must be emptied to prevent damage to the laundry or the machine drum and tub. Zips should be closed, and buttons or hooks fastened, while loose belts or ribbons should be tied together. For stain removal, blood, milk, and eggs are typically handled by the automatic enzyme phase, while red wine, coffee, tea, grass, and fruit stains may require a stain remover added to the main wash chamber. Heavily-soiled areas can be pre-treated with a stain remover.
For dyeing, only dyes suitable for washing machines should be used, following the manufacturer's instructions, and users should be aware that plastic and rubber parts of the machine may be stained. Laundry should be loaded one article at a time, loosely, without overfilling, as overloading can lead to unsatisfactory washing results and creased laundry. The door can only be opened when the door opening light is green. If the machine is running and the door needs to be opened, the power must be turned off or the cycle paused, and then a wait of at least 2 minutes is required for the door lock to release. The door is opened by holding the handle, pressing the inside handle, and pulling. It closes with a click without excessive force.
The detergent dispenser has three chambers: one for prewash/soak detergent, one for main wash detergent, stain remover, and water softener, and one for fabric softener and liquid starch. High-efficiency, low-foam detergent is recommended for front-load machines. The choice of detergent depends on fabric type, colour, wash temperature, and degree/type of soiling. Dosage should follow detergent pack recommendations, adjusting for load size (3/4 for half load, 1/2 for minimum load) and water hardness (less detergent for soft water). Too much detergent can cause excessive foam, reducing washing efficiency and potentially preventing spinning, while insufficient detergent can lead to grey laundry and calcification of the heating system. Liquid detergents can be used for programmes with prewash, but powder detergent must be used for the main wash in such cases. Liquid detergents should not be used with the "Start Delay" function.
Regular maintenance is crucial for the washing machine's longevity and performance. The exterior and control panel can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and a little neutral, non-abrasive detergent, then dried with a soft cloth. The door seal should be cleaned with a damp cloth periodically and its condition checked.
The detergent dispenser should be cleaned regularly. This involves pressing a release lever to remove the drawer, removing the siphon in the softener slot, washing all parts under running water, and then refitting the siphon and drawer.
The filter should be checked and cleaned regularly, at least two or three times a year, especially if the appliance is not draining properly, fails to perform spin cycles, or if the pump is blocked by foreign bodies. Before draining, ensure the water has cooled. To clean the filter, the appliance must be stopped and unplugged. A removal tool (like a slotted screwdriver) is used to open the bottom baffle. A flat container is placed under the filter door, and the emergency drain pipe is used to drain residual water. The filter is then loosened anticlockwise, unscrewed, and removed for cleaning, along with the filter chamber. The pump rotor should move freely. After cleaning, the filter is re-inserted clockwise, and the plinth is reinstalled.
The mesh filter for the water connection should also be checked and cleaned regularly. This involves closing the tap, loosening the inlet hose, cleaning the internal mesh filter, screwing the hose back onto the tap, then unscrewing the inlet hose from the rear of the machine, pulling off the mesh filter with pliers, cleaning it, and refitting it. Finally, the tap is turned on to ensure water-tight connections.
The water supply hose should be checked regularly for brittleness and cracks and replaced with a new hose of the same type if necessary.
For troubleshooting, the manual provides guidance on issues such as the machine not starting, indicator lamps flashing, the appliance stopping during a programme, detergent residue, machine vibrations during spin cycles, and poor spin results. It also explains how to interpret fault codes displayed on the screen, such as "F01" (water inflow fault), "F03" (drainage fault), "F13" (door lock fault), "F14" (door unlock fault), "F24" (overflow or too much foam), "F04-F98" (electronic module fault), and "Unb" (unbalance alarm). For each fault, specific checks and actions are recommended, and if the problem persists, users are advised to contact After-Sales Service.
When transporting the appliance, it should never be lifted by the worktop. The mains plug must be pulled out, the tap turned off, inlet and drain hoses disconnected, and all water eliminated from hoses and the appliance. The transport bolts must be fitted. As the machine weighs over 55 kg, two persons are needed to move it.
Electrical connections must be made by a qualified technician in compliance with safety regulations, using a grounded socket. Extension leads or multiple sockets should not be used. The electrical supply must be adequate for the machine's 10 A current rating, and the power cable should only be replaced by a licensed electrician.
