This document describes a Hisense washing machine, model X08060351B, designed for household and similar applications. It functions as a user's operation manual, providing comprehensive instructions for safe and efficient use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Function Description:
The Hisense washing machine is designed to clean various types of laundry using water, detergents, and additives. It features multiple wash programs tailored for different fabric types and soiling levels. The machine incorporates an automatic enzyme phase for stain removal and an imbalance detection and correction system to ensure stable operation during spin cycles. It is equipped with a door lock mechanism for child safety and to prevent opening during operation. The appliance is designed for connection to both cold and hot water supplies, depending on the model, and includes a drainage system for used water.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Dimensions (Minimum Housing):
- Width: 600 mm
- Height: 850 mm
- Depth: Refer to the program chart for specific models.
- Washing Capacity: Maximum 6 kg.
- Water Pressure:
- Maximum permissible inlet water pressure: 1 MPa.
- Minimum permissible inlet water pressure: 0.1 MPa (for correct operation).
- Electrical Connection:
- Requires a grounded socket.
- Electric supply must be adequate for the machine's 10 A Current Rating.
- The electrical power cable must be replaced exclusively by a licensed electrician if damaged.
- Water Inlet:
- Single inlet models: Cold water only.
- Dual inlet models: Hot and cold water.
- Water tap connector: 3/4" threaded hose connector.
- Detergent Type: Designed for high-efficiency, low-foam detergent suitable for front-load machines.
- Operating Environment: Intended for use in enclosed spaces; installation in bathrooms or other humid areas is not recommended.
- Compliance: Conforms to RoHS current standards and REACH directives. Marked according to the European directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
Usage Features:
- Laundry Sorting: Users are advised to sort laundry by fabric type (cottons, mixed fibres, synthetics, wool, handwash items), color (separating colored and white items, washing new colored articles separately), and size for improved washing efficiency.
- Loading: Articles should be loaded loosely into the drum without overfilling to prevent unsatisfactory washing results and creased laundry.
- Detergent Dispenser: Features three chambers for prewash/soak detergent, main wash detergent, and fabric softener/liquid starch. A separator can be positioned for powder or liquid detergents in the main wash chamber.
- Door Operation: The door can only be opened when the green door opening light is lit. Forcible opening during operation is warned against. A child safety device (plastic screw) is available to lock the door.
- Program Selection: Users select and start programs via the control panel (details in a separate quick reference guide). The machine adjusts program time based on factors like foam formation, load imbalance, and water temperature.
- Safety Precautions:
- Ensure the socket is grounded and water source connection is reliable.
- Not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised. Children aged 8 and above can use it with supervision.
- Children should not play with the appliance or perform cleaning/maintenance unsupervised.
- Do not use extension leads or multiple sockets.
- Disconnect from mains supply before maintenance.
- Do not operate if damaged during transport.
- Do not store flammable fluids near the appliance.
- Ensure ventilation openings in the base are not obstructed by carpets.
- Do not leave the appliance plugged in when not in use.
- Turn off the tap when not in use.
- Transport: Requires two persons to move due to weight (over 55 kg). Transport bolts must be fitted before transport and removed before use.
Maintenance Features:
- Exterior and Control Panel: Can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and a little neutral (non-abrasive) detergent.
- Door Seal: Should be cleaned with a damp cloth when necessary and checked periodically for condition.
- Filter: Recommended to check and clean regularly (at least two or three times a year), especially if draining issues or spin cycle failures occur, or if the pump is blocked by foreign objects. Instructions are provided for safe draining and filter removal/cleaning.
- Water Supply Hose: Should be checked regularly for brittleness and cracks and replaced with a new hose of the same type if necessary.
- Mesh Filter for Water Connection: Should be checked and cleaned regularly. Instructions are provided for cleaning the internal mesh filter at the tap connection and the mesh filter at the machine connection.
- Detergent Dispenser: All parts of the detergent drawer (release lever, cover grid, separator) can be removed and washed under running water.
- "Eco System" Reactivation: After maintenance, approximately 1 litre of water should be poured into the detergent drawer to reactivate the "Eco system."
- Troubleshooting Guide: Provides solutions for common issues such as the machine not starting, screen flashing, stopping during a program, residue in the detergent drawer, and vibrations during spin cycles. It also explains fault codes displayed on the screen (e.g., "F01" for water inflow fault, "F03" for drainage fault, "F13" for door lock fault, "F14" for door unlock fault, "Unb" for unbalance alarm, and "F02/F24", "F04" to "F07", "F23" for electronic module faults or overflow).
- After-Sales Service: Users are advised to attempt self-remedy using the troubleshooting guide before contacting after-sales service if problems persist.
