  If your Hitachi Projector cannot communicate via a wireless network, here are some things to try: * Ensure the projector is turned on. * Verify the network device is also on. * If the standby mode is set to 'Saving', the network function might be unavailable; switch it to 'Normal'. * Check the network settings in the NETWORK INFORMATION – WIRELESS menu, consulting your network administrator if needed. * Ensure the USB wireless adapter is properly inserted. Note that only the USB-WL-11N adapter is compatible.

Why can't I use wireless and wired LAN at the same time on my Hitachi CP-WX5500?

  You cannot use wireless and wired LAN at the same time because the same network address cannot be used for both. To resolve this, set different network addresses for wireless LAN and wired LAN. Alternatively, you can set the default gateway of either wired LAN or wireless LAN to 0.0.0.0, allowing either wired LAN or wireless LAN to access different networks.

  If the time settings on your Hitachi Projector are incorrect: * Make sure the battery is properly set, and replace it if it's exhausted. * Check the Date/Time Settings menu of the Projector Web Control or the DATE AND TIME menu of the projector. * Connect to the network. * Check the settings of the SNTP server, consulting with your network administrator if necessary. * Set the time difference if getting the time via the network.

Up to 11 devices can be connected in Simple Access Point mode. * If the projector is connected to the maximum number of devices, disconnect a currently connected device before connecting a new one. * Enable the DHCP setting of the computer. * Try changing the channel setting. * If the IP address overlaps, turn off your WiFi device and turn it on again. * Set WIRELESS NETWORK to ON.

  If you cannot control an external device using Network Bridge: * Check the settings in OPTION – SERVICE – COMMUNICATION – COMMUNICATION TYPE menu. * Ensure STANDBY MODE is set to NORMAL, and set NETWORK BRIDGE (WIRELESS/WIRED) in the COMMUNICATION TYPE menu, as Network Bridge is unavailable in SAVING mode. * Check the serial settings of both the projector and the external device.
