Hitachi DS 10DFL - Precautions on Disassembly and Reassembly of Battery Charger

After reassembly, install the battery and then check component operations as follows:
(1) Checking the direction of rotation
Press the (R) side of Pushing Button (A) [32], and check that Drill Chuck 10MM [2] rotates in the
clockwise direction (when viewed from the rear of the main body).
(In case of reverse rotation, the soldered connections of the internal wires of Motor DC12V [28] and
DC-Speed Control Switch [35] are inverse.)
(2) Checking LED operation
Turn the trigger of DC-Speed Control Switch [35] on and off, and check that the LED goes on and off.
(The LED goes on when the trigger is turned on; the LED goes off when the trigger is turned off.)
(3) Checking shift knob operation
Set Shift Knob [33] to "HIGH" (high-speed rotation) and "LOW" (low-speed rotation), and check that
rotation speed is switched correctly without any abnormal noise being generated by the gears or other
parts.
