colours

lead

this
apparatus
may
not
correspond
with
the
coloured
markings
identifying
the
terminals
in
your
plug
proceed
as
follows,

YELLOW
must
be
connected
to
the
termina!

plug

marked
by
the
letter
E
or
by
the
safety
earth
symbol

ADJUSTMENTS
BEFORE
USE
Perform
the
tracking
force
and
anti-skating
adjust-
ments
before
operating
your
turntable.
TRACKING
FORCE
ADJUSTMENT
(See
Figs.
4,5,6,7)
The
tracking
force
adjustment
should
be
done
be-
fore
playing.
The
tracking
force
must
be
adjusted
to
the
recommended
value
as
shown
on
the
in-
struction
sheet
of
the
cartridge.
1.
Undo
the
rest
hook,
and
set
the
anti-skating
knob
‘0’
to
the
anti-skating
index
line.

Fig.
4)
2.
Rotate
the
weight
sleeve
and
set
it
so
that
the
tracking
force
index
line
can
be
seen
for
about
10
mm.
3.
Adjust
the
horizontal
balance
as
follows:
(a)
First,
proceed
with
a
coarse
adjustment.
Move
the
balance
weight
along
and
set
so
that
the
tonearm
is
almost
horizontal.
(lf
the
tonearm
is
not
horizontal
even
when
the
balance
weight
is
moved
right
along,
rotate
the
weight
sleeve.)
(b)Now
proceed
with
the
fine
adjustment.
Rotate
the
weight
sleeve
so
that
the
tonearm
comes
to
rest
horizontally.

AUTOMATIC
MECHANISM

The
first
time
you
play
a
record
after
installing
the
turntable,
the
automatic
mechanism
will
not
operate
Therefore,
before
playing
the
record,
set
the
turntable
to
the
record
play
mode,
and
perform
the
auto-cut
operation
once
(by
pulling
the
arm
lifter/auto-cut
lever
to
CUT).
4.
Secure
the
weight
sleeve
so
that
it
will
not
rotate.
Rotate
the
scale
ring
so
that
its
‘0’
is
aligned
with
the
tracking
force
index
line.

5.
Rotate
the
weight
sleeve
in
the
direction
of
the
arrow
in
the
figure
and
adjust
to
the
recom-
mended
value
of
the
cartridge’s
tracking
force.
