Faults and remedies
Caution!
The motor shaft and mower blade should not be aligned.
Fault Solution
The motor does not start ƒ Add petrol
ƒ Set throttle lever to "Start"
ƒ Press the motor switch at the handlebar
ƒ Check the spark plugs and replace if necessary.

ƒ Spin the mower blade
ƒ Start on a surface already mowed
Motor power reduced ƒ Adjust the cutting height
ƒ Resharpen / replace the mower blade
ƒ Clean the outlet shaft/housing

Lawnmower cuts unevenly ƒ Resharpen/replace the mower blade

ƒ Allow the lawn to dry
ƒ Resharpen/replace the mower blade
ƒ Clear the grille on the grass catcher
ƒ Clean the outlet shaft/housing
Wheel drive does not work ƒ Adjust the Bowden cable
ƒ V-belt faulty
ƒ Contact the service-workshop
ƒ Clean any dirt away from the wheel drive, toothed belt and gearing
ƒ Lubricate the freewheels (drive pinion on drive shaft) with spray oil
Wheels do not turn when the
transmission is switched on
ƒ Retighten the wheel bolts
ƒ Wheel hub faulty
ƒ V-belt faulty
ƒ Contact the service-workshop
Unusually strong vibrations in
the lawnmower
ƒ Check the mower blade
