Tracking
force
adjustment
BALANCE
WEIGHT
The
tracking
force
adjustment
should
be
done
before
playing.
The
tracking
force
must
be
adjusted
to
the
SCALE
RING
recommended
value
as
shown
on
the
instruction
sheet
of
the
cartridge.
INDICATION
LINE
*
Rotate
the
BALANCE
WEIGHT
until
the
tone
arm
is
balanced
evenly.
*
When
the
tone
arm
is
balanced
evenly
turn
the
SCALE
RING
alone
until
the
“0”?
on
the
SCALE
RING
of
the
BALANCE
WEIGHT
is
set
over
the
INDICATION
LINE.
The
tone
arm
is
now
set
at
zero
gram.
Turn
the
BALANCE
WEIGHT
slowly
until
the
INDICATION
LINE
comes
to
the
specified
force.
The
stylus
tip
will
then
be
adjusted
to
the
dered
tracking
force.
ANTI-SKATING
KNOB
Match
the
anti-skating
dial
to
the
indicated
line
in
accordance
with
the
tracking
force
of
the
cartidge
used.
PITCH
CONTROL
KNOB
Pitch
control
should
be
done
while
watching
the
stroboscope
installed
at
the
periphery
of
the
plater.
Turn
the
pitch
control
knob
slowly
until
the
stipes
on
the
stroboscope
appear
still.
Turn
the
kno)
in
the
F
direction
when
the
stripes
flow
rightward,and
HEAD
SHELL
in
the
S
direction
when
the
flow
leftward.
(CARTRIDGE
EXCLUDED
IN
U.S.A.)
Perform
installation
or
replacement
of
the
cartridge
as
follows.
,
*
Attach
the
cartridge
to
the
head
shell
with
cartridge
fixing
screws.
The
polarities
and
L,R
channel
of
the
lead
wire
of
the
head
shell
are
shown
in
Fig.
4.
The
ARM
LIFTER
&
AUTO
CUT
LEVER
connection
should
be
done
according
to
the
*
Arm
lifter
simultaneously
used
as
auto-cut
leve
terminal
indication
of
the
cartridge.
This
lever
has
3
change-over
positions-
UP,
DOVN,
Stylus
Replacement
CUT.
When
sound
becomes
distorted
or
noisy,
check
the
When
starting
play
stylus
to
see
whether
it
is
worn
out
or
not.
If
worn
Remove
the
tone
arm
from
its
arm
rest
and
seithe
out,
replace
it
with
new
one.

moved

record,

turntable
starts
to
rotate.
Green
When
the
lever
is
set
to
“DOWN”’,
the

across
a
record
(Auto-cu)
Pull
the
lever
towards
CUT
and
release
your
hndl.
The
tone
arm
automatically
returns
to
theirrn
rest
and
the
power
to
the
player
is
cut
off.

To
stop
playing
for
a
while
white
Set
the
lever
to
“UP”,
and
the
tone
arm
iise’s
gradually
and
the
record
stops
playing.
SPEED
CHANGE-OVER
LEVER
The
speed
is
changed
to
33-1/3
or
45
rpm.
