2 SAFETY

This appliance is lled with R32, an odourless low
burning velocity refrigerant. If the refrigerant is leaked,
there is a possibility of ignition if it enters in contact
with an external ignitions source.
Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process
or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously
operating ignition sources (for example: open ames, an operating
gas appliance or an operating electric heater).
Do not pierce or burn.
Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odour.
2.1 APPLIED SYMBOLS
During normal air conditioning system design work or unit
installation, greater attention must be paid in certain situations
requiring particular care in order to avoid injuries and damage to
the unit, the installation or the building or property.
Situations that jeopardise the safety of those in the surrounding
area or that put the unit itself at risk will be clearly indicated in
this manual or in appliance.
To indicate these situations, a series of special symbols will be
used to clearly identify these situations.
Pay close attention to these symbols and to the messages
following them, as your safety and that of others depends on it.
